What are Chunky Braids, Solange Braids or Poetic Justice Braids?

Chunky Box Braids

Chunky Box Braids are also called Poetic Justice Braids (made popular from Janet Jackson wearing them in the movie, Poetic Justice) or Solange braids, made popular from the singer/style icon, Solange, sister of Popular singer Beyoncé). Poetic Justice or Solange Braids  are merely very long chunky box braids extensions that are done with very large parts.

Beyonce's baby sister, well-known for her unique style brought this style back recently and it has taken the hair world by storm since 2012. This is without a doubt the most popular new braid trend for 2012-2013.
